About Me

I love finding the person in a photographic moment

"Can you send me that photo? I want to print it. It is quintessentially Beth."

This is one of my favorite recent reviews of a photograph I've taken. I asked my friend Beth to be a subject for an editorial photoshoot about queer families. When reviewing the photos, her partner asked if I would send him a specific frame. I had captured exactly who he knew his partner to be. This is why I love photography.

I've been taking photos since I was very young. My passion is documentary photography and portraiture. My goal is always to find the person in a photographic moment. While this might sound poetic, it's really about listening, bringing humor to a session and finding a rhythm that makes the subject comfortable.

LGBTQIA+ Ally

Being an ally is a core tenet of my belief system. If you or anyone in your family identifies as LGBTQIA+, I can assure you our time together will be a safe experience.

My History

I have a master's degree in photography and design from Elisava School of Design in Barcelona. For the last 13 years I've been honing my craft of documentary, portraiture and fine art photography. You can see my other works at robritz.com.

If you're ready to chat about a session, please don't hesitate to send a message!
